Frey Engineering was approved by the Helen Kramer Landfill Trust to perform engineering and maintenance activities in 2010 at the
Helen Kramer Landfill Superfund Site in Mantua Township, Gloucester County, New Jersey. Activities that will occur during 2010 are maintenance of certain tanks associated with a waste water treatment plant, maintenance of the landfill gas collection system and landfill cap, and maintenance of the Roller Compacted Concrete (RCC) wall including storm water control measures and concrete structure maintenance.

Frey Engineering was awarded a contract from the GEMS Landfill Trust to perform engineering and maintenance activities for the landfill gas collection and treatment system and landfill cap at the GEMS Landfill Superfund Site in Gloucester Township, Camden County, New Jersey. Activities that will occur during 2010 include: periodic methane monitoring of extraction and monitoring wells; inspection and maintenance of the landfill gas collection system and treatment flare; and inspection/maintenance of the landfill cap and storm water control measures.

Frey Engineering staff has been accepted by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection as a temporary Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) under the Site Remediation Reform Act (SRRA), which establishes a program for the licensing of LSRPs who will have responsibility for oversight of environmental investigation and cleanup.
